Many women warriors are currently at war in Iraq. We need to pray for them and send them strength during this time of battle. May the Goddess be with them.
April 2-- Army Pfc. Jessica Lynch's family is on cloud nine over her rescue from Iraqi captors, but they're still praying for the other missing soldiers who were in her unit.
April 5 -- When special operations forces rescued Pfc. Jessica Lynch, they discovered the bodies of nine U.S. soldiers. On Saturday, the Pentagon announced most of them were members of Lynch's unit. Among them was Lynch's friend and former roommate, Pfc. Lori Piestewa, who became the first U.S. servicewoman killed in the war.
April 6 -- Pfc. Jessica Lynch had nothing but smiles for her family during a long-awaited reunion in a military hospital Sunday. Her parents, Deadra and Gregory, two siblings and a cousin paid the rescued POW two brief visits after arriving early Sunday from West Virginia, U.S. military officials said. Lynch had a big smile on her face when her parents arrived,the hospital said in a statement.
TUBA CITY, Ariz., April 6 " A photo shows Pfcs. Lori Piestewa(a native Arizonan) and Jessica Lynch in February, the day before they were deployed to the Middle East: roommates, good friends, smiling in their Army fatigues.
